It is our great pleasure to welcome you to the ‘16th Young Psychologist Competition and the Undergraduate Research Conference’ which is to be held on March 17th, 2025. It will be an assembly of psychology researchers, scholars, academicians, talented young scientists and students from worldwide!

Here young researchers across the globe can meet, network, and present new scientific innovations and findings.

The theme for this year is ‘Psychological Resilience in the Meta Era: Navigating Emerging Trends'

In a world where virtual lives blend seamlessly with reality, the line between what is authentic and what is real has blurred. The rise of cyberspace and deepfakes has created parallel existences, raising profound questions about identity, truth, and trust. As we adapt to this digital landscape, we face new pressures: How do we distinguish between genuine and fabricated experiences? What are the consequences for our mental health, security, and relationships?

In this rapidly evolving digital world, psychological resilience has become a key trait for individuals and societies to cultivate. As we live through the "Meta Era," a period defined by continuous technological advancements, driven by the rise of immersive technologies like the metaverse, AI, and virtual engagement, the ways in which we think, interact, and cope with challenges are undergoing significant transformation. The rise of artificial intelligence (AI), social media, and automation has not only reshaped industries but also created new pressures and uncertainties, making psychological resilience more critical than ever.

As we forge ahead, understanding the balance between technology’s potential and its pitfalls is key. What will safeguard us from these threats? How do we cultivate authenticity in a world shaped by algorithms and artificial intelligence? These are the essential questions for thriving in the meta age, and they demand urgent attention.

This conference aims to bring together experts, researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to exchange ideas, share insights, and foster collaboration in adapting minds to confront the pressing challenges of our time.

The following objectives will be addressed in the conference: Explore Emerging Psychological Trends, Interdisciplinary Collaboration, Knowledge Dissemination, Policy Development and Networking, and Community Building.
